Rick Ross:

With over 12 years of experience under his belt, this southern sensation turned to PatchWerk Recording Studios to record his next project. Ross has been booked heavily for the past two months in our studio 9000 working with our award winning engineers on his highly anticipated sophmore release. Quickly becoming a giant in the music industry, and gaining the respect of heavywieghts like DJ Khaled, T.I., Lil' Wayne, and Young Jeezy, Ric Ross is proving that he is certainly going to be around for a while.

SESSION REPORTS

In Studio 9000

PatchWerk Recording Studios’ engineers and  assistants constantly work with the best artists from various genres of music. In October 2007, Mike Miller and Justin Trawick asisted Leslie Braithwaite and Mike Wilson while they engineered sessions for pop, R&B , and rap artists with Interscope, Atlantic, and Disturbing tha Peace Records(D.T.P.), just to name a few.

Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussy Cat Dolls, was in the studio working on “When You're Falling,”

a song produced by music phenomenon Akon, and engineered by Leslie Braithwaite. Meanwhile Mike Miller assisted on a session with Tweet, the ‘Southern Hummingbird,’ herself.

Assisted by Justin Trawick, Leslie Braithwaite was in studio 9000 engineering sessions for D.T.P's own Chingy, and new sensation Playaz Circle. They also worked on tracks for the newly emerged artist, Young Berg. Mike Wilson was also in the studio with Chingy along side producer LT Moe laying down vocals for the rapper's upcoming album.

Other clients in 9000 included studio regulars Fabo and Mannie Fresh.

In Studio 995

Engineer Denny Ogle manned the boards, engineering a session for Super Producer Brian Cox. B.Cox was here working with Atlanta’s very own R&B superstar, Monica. Much of October was dedicated to Monica’s work on such tracks as “Heaven Can You Hear Me” and “Same Thing, Same Way,”.

Adrian Dickey assisted on a session for Blood Raw, a new artist with Corporate Thugs Entertainment (CTE).

Tweet and Baby of Cash Money held sessions that were engineered by Kori Anders.

Also in studio 995 were Chingy, newly reunited with D.T.P., Universal’s David Banner, and Def Jam’s newly signed Rocko.

Afterthoughts

One notable asset about PatchWerk Recording Studios is that we are a commercial recording facility. Meaning we do not limit our clients to any one label, genre, or artist. Though some things are unpredictable and are always changing, whether it's R&B, Crunk, Pop, or Rap you can always depend on PatchWerk to deliver the big names, bigger hits, and the best quality!
